turn the key on and make sure you here the fuel pump prime. it will be a quiet wirring sound for a second or two. if you hear it then in the engine bay you could undo the line at the fuel rail or filter and fuel should come out under pressure.

Find a fuel pressure guage and disconnect the service bolt(10mm bolt) on the fitting on the fuel filter and read it off that.

Autozone might carry the gauge if not sears has the craftsman one.

You either have a bad fuel pump. Or no power is getting to it. Check first to see that it is getting power. If it is not, go backward from the fuel pump to find the fault. Bad main relays are a BIG problem with these cars.

i've no idea how to check for power?

also, if u have a bad fuel pump, wouldn't ur motor just die because it's not receiving any fuel? my motor is still receiving fuel and i know that for a fact because my car is still running.
