Hey guys, i got a pretty clean hatch last year, but im thinking i wanna do a color change on it, and the previous owner shaved the side moldings, i was wondering if anyone knew if id be possible to sand out the bondo or body filler that used to fill the molding??? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!

 

depends if they did it the right way, i.e. welded in filler strips coverd with filler, if i is just bondo u should be able to break it out

 

Pretty sure its just filled with bondo and filler, one reason i want it gone is cuz in chicago, when winter hit the bondo shrank and i have beautiful cracks down the paint on the edge of all the moldings, plus i got keyed, and well reds over played lol
