prelude and civic radiators
what year civics do the radiators fit on a 5th gen prelude. i want to get a smaller radiator so i can have more room in my engine bay. i seen it on here before but i couldnt find the thread on the pics. and also has anyone had heating problems with the smaller radiator. i seen how civics have h22 swaps and theyre still running their stock radiators. TIA
people do run the half size rad in their car for room for turbo with no overheating probelms that i know of. just you have to make mounts for it thats all
I've been running with a half radiator by Griffin w/ no problems.
One thing to be aware of is the the inlet & outlet sizes are smaller on the radiator, so clamping the hose down and not have it leak is difficult in my case. However, I understand the Fluidyne makes a civic sized radiator with larger inlet and outlet sizes to better fit the larger H22 hoses.

The Koyo is normal at the top, but small at the bottom in comparison to the Lude radiator. We took a piece of the top hose and inserted into the bottom hose and it fits fine then.
