I'm not gonna tell you how it will look because that's not your car so you shouldn't use pics of it without permission from the owner.

Total Lameness = '04 class

I'm sure Ken will agree

Your absolutely right, but if it's a big deal then the guy needs to Copy Right it. Then if someone wants to use it, he can sign a 'Release of Interest' form and possibly get royalties out of it. The internet is public domain with different rules governing which makes your information and my information public in a way never dreamed of. Also "shouldn't" is a word that is too speculative. Either he can or he can't. It's that simple.

I'm not by any means sticking up for the guy for using the picture or sticking up for the guys who are irritated that the picture is used. This is coming from a neutral stance. Just my .02 *shrug

Next time out of courtesy, just ask the guy if you can use it first more times than not, with a simple explanation of what your using it for would save everyone a head ache.

I don't see how it is a big deal.. If he posted it on ebay selling stuff then yes.. I would be mad.. he was just using it as reference... don't want your pictures used?... Copyright them.. or just don't post them in the first place. Don't get all pissy

yeah. hopefully the original thread starter will note that. donno though, i don't think it's a big deal as he's not doing anything 'bad' with the pic minus starting a thread and not knowing how to post pictures; he's just using it for visual reference. i've used other peoples' pictures before for that reason.

too bad he's biting ken's GM ITR stylezzz though. heh.

edit: yeah what guy just above me said

Well he also PMed me saying how he wants to make his car the exact same bla bla bla.....so I don't like that aspect of it. If he asked me then it would be cool, but to try and replicate my car is pretty dumb in my opinion. Tons of people have asked me for the color code and I gave it to a few people, but I get sick of it after a while.

I wrote in the PM
"Is that gunmetal itr yours? can you send me some pictures of it? I'm currently looking into buying a ls shell and build it with everything type r along with a k22 and I was thinking of the color you have, its completely sick"

Im not a ******* noob so dont treat me like one, I'v been into hondas for a long time now and i'v seen lots of type r's with the same ol color, then I saw yours.. It just stood out from the rest. It was original and I love it, if you dont like the idea of me painting my car that same color, thats ok...
I'm joining the military soon and I will have all the money i want, so I was debateing on what to do. Put all the money into my accord, buy the ls shell, or just buy a brand new car. This was purely just an idea I had for the wheels because i'v never seen an integra with rsx wheels.

Geeze people, relax.

It's not like you both live on the same street, paint away!

And as for people that want a car that looks like your, just take it as a compliment and let it die.

Who even knows if he found the picture on HT to begin with. I've seen pics of my car on random misc. websites. How would he have known to contact you if there is no contact info on the picture itself? If you dont want people to use your pictures, don't post them.

pull your head out man. there isn't anything super unique about your car, nor the paint. it is an integra, and believe it or not no matter how much you have done, there will still be a car exactly the same as yours, until you invent your own car, rims blah blah blah.

take it as a compliment!
