Default CONTROL ARMS BUSHINGS... i need to tighten them up a little.. what to use ?

i would like to know what do you guy uses as control arm bushings ?
like the ones that holds the upper A ARMS ..
the stock rubber is really too flexy and i want to minimize camber and toe changes during cornering ..

i was thinking about delrin replacements..but didn't find where to buy that stuff..anyone knows more about that ?

then considered bearings..but is is a PITA to do the changeover and really expensive..
and i don't wanna consider polyurethane bushings for now..

maybe hard rubber like the mugen stuff ?
would mugen bushings fit on my prelude upper arms ?

need help!
eheh
( again .. )

delrin bushings are a pain. they are a b!itch to install, and they squeek to no end when its cold out. At least thats my experience.

Why not poly? Why are you trying to do everything on the cheap side? You'll just end up replacing all of it later when you need to do it right.

The Progress Group will be releasing an entire series of suspention spherical bearings for Honda/Acura’s in the very near future. Like next week, including radius rod bearings for the CRX and second generation Integra’s. You might give them a call and see if they are going to release anything for the Prelude.

Do not install these on your street car and check class rules for your race car!

That depends on who's using the term, and what the application is. Sometimes it means metal bushing. Other times it's a bearing that, instead of spinning, provides a swivel motion. They're commonly found on rod-ends.

There's no mention on their site... are you an insider?

Hiems joints, solid core bushings, non-compliance bushings...etc...

there is few types of delrin..and there is one that is self lubrificated..it as like 20% of composition out of special nylon..and it just can't squeek ..

+ bushings on a fairely new car aren't routgh at all to isntall

and i think i'll jsut forget spherical..this is jsut too expensive and it's not really comfortable on street car
