just installed a type r trans. on my gsr. i like it!!
you can def. feel a diff, mainly 1st through 3rd gear and the obvious raise in rpm at all speed compared to my old gsr trans. The lsd is nice and smooth, i just have to get used to being able to hold a nice line w/ out drifting twords the outside. wish i would have done this sooner.

There should be a difference in all gears EXCEPT first. Doesnt the itr tranny share the same first gear and FD with the gsr tranny?

Yes all first gears are the same. Speaking of which...I just put a b16 tranny (which has identical gears to an USDM ITR tranny) into my car that has a GSR 3rd...3rd through 5th feels so good. 3rd-4th drops lik 1500 rpm or something close to that...I haven't really taking it out yet. Its was a rebuild...
