Default SUGGESTIONS FOR FRESHLY BUILT FRANK MOTOR

sup h-t, just finished breaking in my crvtec and its just not running as I hoped. Im choking the **** out of the motor with my flat, dented *** itr 4-1 so I know that has to be replaced. Im in the market to get some cams that would best suit my set up. Im also wondering if I should get a different fuel/engine management. All im running right now is the apex vafc. any suggestions on experiences would help greatly, thanks in advance. heres my motor specs
the block was rebuilt with all oem honda parts ( all bearings, p72 oil, water pumps) except for the 11:8 arias pistons w/ eagle rods. the b16 head was left stock except for the upgraded supertech valvetrain. valves, springs, retainers. for now Im using a reprogrammed obd-1 p28 w/ mugen program and vafc.

any help would be appreciated.

imo, there's nothing wrong with vafc. we've made decent power on vafc before so i know its all good. whats nice about vafc is that its user friendly, the driver can set / adjust without a tuner and a laptop. plus any tuner can work with a vafc. u don't need a specialty tuner. the next step up imo would be hondata but as u know that requires more experienced tuner with that program.

haha sure. its a v.1 and its still in brand new condition. I really need a new header though...i really want to start building the head w/ some cams. just need cam ideas. cause I have a good platform with the 11:8 compression, I just need some mad airflow. the motor seems to stop making power at like 7500k rpm, or is it my header choking the **** out of my motor?

o btw, by vafc i was refering to nice street cars. of course if u want to maximize the potential of ur motor go with something that can go in dept with everything ie; hondata. well, cutting off at 7500...what injectors are u running? pump? or maybe u jus need some good tuning.

stock injectors for now with walbro 250 lph pump...towards the end of the build i was cleaned out for cash, so im still not done. roy suggested building the head while it was all apart, but i had no more cash
