I bought a 4040 prop valve off of a guy parting out his 95 Del Sol VTEC.

He says this is a 40/40 prop valve and that it was different on the 95's compared to the other years....but refunded me the money anyway.

Anyway...this is what I got. What is it!!?

 

Looks like the prop valve off of an abs equipped integra.

 

So ABS equipped hondas have this prop valve?

damn I can't use it can i.

 

Non abs have 6 inlets

 

so I'm fecked.

 

i beleive the abs prop valve is built into the abs box on the abs cars, that piece just connects the lines either way its worthless to you the one you need has 6 holes for your brake lines like the one thats in the center of your firewall now

 

Sorry to sound ignorant, but what does the prop valve do?

 

splits the brake fluid shooting the correct amount to four ways
