I installed 17x8, +45 MF10's on a DC5 (customer's car) with Mugen Sport Suspension w/o any problems rubbing.

I had 17" x 7" Buddy Clubs with 35 offset and didn't really rub. So any offset between 35-45 is good.

i'd go with a 17x8 so it is possible to run a wider rubber. 17x7 you are limited to probably 225 max. with a 8 inch wheel you can go as wide as 245 ish.

alright guys...I've decided to go 18 x 8 with a 38 offset.....Too big?...Clearance issues?....By the way, I'm ordering some Volk GTU's with the Gold finish for my black DC5-S....What do you guys think?

Can't say for sure that it won't stick out too far/rub on your fenders. See if you can find someone using the same wheels or anyhting 8" wide with a +38 offset. They'll look nice though

I want those rims too and I have the same color as you. send me some pics when you get them. I think it will look sick but I'm not sure about the 38mm offset. maybe 40 or 42. I can check for you because I have a buddy that works at mackin.

I'd go with 22x9 up front and 22x10 out back. 275 rubber, of course.

Im not sure i care too much for the look of an 18" wheel on the car...i looked around a found a few pictures and though they fit the wheel well nicely with a fairly low stance, i think 17's personally are optimal, if you can fit a 17x8 that would be good...but it seems as if you've already made up your mind so good luck with that...

Type R rims look nice. I haven't seen white on black, though silver looks great.

IMO they type R rims are too heavy (19lbs ea?) and for the price i'd rather pay a little more for a set of volks.
