Does the EG and EK hatch have the same exhaust configuration...ie the exhausts are interchangable so to speak?? I've already done a search and can't find the answer? I want to buy an exhaust for a 92-95 hatch...anything 2.5", and there seems to be a lot for the 96-00 hatch. Thanks.

i have an eg apexi n1 on my ek. i'm not sure if it would have bolted up perfect cause i have a gsr motor so either way it wouldn't reach the header. ek exhaust might be a little bit longer than the eg but don't quote me on that.

 

if ur looking for a 2.5' which i am to, i dont think it matters the difference on the EG/EK...they should be sumwat identical besides the ek's headers.. i would go to my closest custom exhaust shop. for ur eg/ek should cost about 250bills , probably be more cheaper and more eficient if u have aem headers and a high flow cat.. just an idea i got mine in ebay for 50 bucks ..good luck let me know how it all came out .

 

the axel back is identicle. I speak from experiance. Its the mid pipe or b-pipe I think its called that is a little shorter on the eg. Thats an easy fix though.

 

I got an entire DC setup im selling soon when i take it off my car next week. it'll be for sale 400 shipped comes with DC 4-1 Header for b series too. I dont want to let it go but im going 3 inch exhaust. its off my EG hatch so let me know. You guys can e-mail me at winston402@gmail.com

BTW, G6 hatch B-pipe is longer than with G5 hatch due to longer wheelbase. Header/cat setup may also be different depending on model/engine.

 

Since I have a GSR motor in my '93 Si and it seems that the exhaust systems won't reach, would the length of the EK exhaust make up for the difference? Or would it be best to go with the "Civic HB (EK JDM Spec)" exhaust. I'm going with Skunk2, just trying to figure out which one.

 

how far is the difference? i have a eg exhaust on my ek it fit fine. just had to trim up around one of the hangers near the rear tires

 

My muffler came from an 5th gen hatch, my car is a 6th gen.

So it fits, perfectly.

 

From what I get with the GSR motor in an EG hatch I just have to get EK exhaust for it to bolt right up. Thanks for all the help.
