Default 96 accord wagon coming soon | questions about swap ....

I am close to buying a nice black accord wagon. I have dealt with 2 civics before and i think i might want a v6 (aka torque) so just want to know if anyone knows about swapping a
3.2 type S with 6 speed motor
into a 94 to 97 accord

Any pics or anybody have any idea about prices for these motors and transmission>?
Also i think the years of production were 02 to 04 but not sure>?.
Also whats the engine code and does the transmission come with a LSD>?
I searched for accord swaps and there where about 14 threads also there is no "what swaps are available for my accord" thread (or is there?)

thanks

seeing as how it's a 96, you'll already have OBDII, which is good. Only thing is, if the accord isn't a V6 from the start, the swap will probably be much harder. in the I4, things are much more spaced out around the engine, as where the V6 everything is crammed in more.

It'll be pretty damned difficult to swap a 6 cyl 6 speed into that car, you'd have to replace a lot and spend thousands to custom fab and install it...

damn. Can't even do the 2.7 V6?
Someone told me i need to bolt the whole front clip from a v6 4 do' accord.
If you have a 94 to 97 stock v6 automatic has anyone made it a 5 speed>>?

Maybe i will have to do h23 with a short trans. Maybe a supercharger.

thanks

I don't believe a V6 will fit in that car. When Honda introduced the V6 to the Accord in 1995, the front end of the Accord was actually longer than the 4 cyl model. I've only heard of one person swapping a cl v6 engine into a 5th gen accord and it was the v6 accord to start with. It can be done with enough money but I don't think the cost will justify the end result.

v6 is slightly longer than the i4.. but then again people are swapping things left and right, k20's into rexs... etc. its a possibility but has it been done? dont know. let us know how your project comes out.
