What would be a good 1/4 mile time for a ls/vtec in a 2000 civic si w/ AEM cold air, dc header, skunk2 itk manifold, aem fuel pressure regulator, and 17" wheel front /rear? I know I need to get some stock wheels w/ sticky tires for the front. But I ran a 15.4 @ 92 MPH w/ bald 17's @ 44psi burning out pretty bad. Considering the circumstances is this any good let me know?

 

That's not bad, but you will definitely do better as you get more seat time at the track. Just for comparision, my old lsvtec setup consist of stock ls block with b16 pistons, b16 head, type R cams, skunk 2 intake manifold, and cheap header. I ran a 14.5 @ 96 mph in a del sol.

Good observation, but one of "us" has VTECH instead.

 

I have my sn for almost three years now ever since I did my first ls/vtec. Now i'm running a boosted ls/vtec!

 

ive run a 13.9 @ 99 with a 2.1 60ft in a 93 integra with ls/vtec with some not soo great slicks... i would assume the si would weight about the same if not lighter.. the DA weighed in at 2740 with me in it

and it was a 14.5 with a 2.4 60ft with crappy street tires at 32psi

I know, I can't believe that so many people forgot the H in vtech

 

is there a LOCK in the word vtec?
