Im thinking about selling my rims, The rims I want would definitly be downgrading but at the same time they would have alot of benifits..

currently im rolling on 17" RH C2 evos... They are in my opinion the best looking wheels for my car.. They turn heads like no other, they are discontinued to the extent of my knowledge and they are just a good quality wheel.. But they also have their negatives.. ATTN is not always what i want, when u r turbo u get plenty of attn and the rims only bring attn from all the wrong people.. they are heavy and I can tell a clear difference in accelleration between them and 15's.. plus the ride quality is ******* with the low pro tires and in my opinion i even think 17's look a lil goofy, just a slighty bit too large... but the wheels just look too good its tough to decide..

but now it comes time to decidede, my tires are worn to the belts almost and for some decent tires on 17's its gonna cost me like 400+ and i dont even want decent i want bad ***.. but thats 400 i dont have

so im thinking about selling the wheels, adding up the negatives and positives it only seems like the right thing to do, but its tough cause im sacrificing looks..

so here are my choices of wheels:

either get some stock GSR wheels, 98-01 and put some really good tires on em.. I would probably have some cash left over even if i did that.. Id be a sleeper and the wheels definitly look good, maybe not AS good but good..

or.. get some Rota's in 16".. this is what I really want to do cause it would allow me to have an aftermarket wheel, with medium profile tires, they would still look good, they would be relatively light wieght and definitly functional.. I could get them in 7"s wide and put 215/40/16 tires up front for added width(definitly a plus considering im turbo).. only problem is people would hate since they aren't the "real" thing.. personally i could give a if someone thinks im a ricer cause i have immation spoons or volks, this turbo ricer could most likely walk on your ***.. but I really would enjoy the real thing but the funds are not there, i mean it would be between buying some 2k dollar wheels or building my block and running 20psi.. what would u do?

im just looking for some people to back me up on my idea to get rid of the rims.. what do u guys think i should doo
