Priming the Car
sand the whole car down with 180-200 grit, just sand down through the clear and the first coat of base. If you are going to put body filler over a ding or dent, sand down the whole area around it (5 inch radius) to bare metal, the reason for doing this is that body filler will peel and flake if you apply it to any layer of paint. Once you are done with the dings and dents, prime the panels that have body filler on them, block sand them with 240 grit. You dont need to prime any panel unless it has body filler on it. Who ever paints it will seal the entire car with a yellowish sealer. Good luck.
