Default riding on stripped caliper bolt ok?

a friend helped me swap out my left front axle the other day and putting the whole caliper back together with the new axle it turns out the caliper bolt got stripped..well he put it back together as best he could and told me to replace it as soon as i can..i plan to get the bolt tomorrow along with a new slider pin..but i have no ride in the mean time..how dangerous is it to ride around like that or will it be okay ?

When it comes to the brakes I wouldn't chance it.Why chance wrecking your whole car because you didn't want to wait an extra day to change a $10.00 part to make it safe.

Why did you take off the caliper to change an axle?

Is it the bolt that goes in the sliding pin that's stripped or the big *** bolt that holds the caliper bracket to the knuckle?
