Is it just the same but made from different material? Does it matter if it is a knock off ****, b/c I'm not really trying to pay like about 100 bucks just for a ****. Let me know whats up.

the real one has a really smooth satin titanium finish and it weighted nicely for quick smooth shifts

the whole **** being cold in the winter and hot in summer thing never bothered me. you arent supposed to hold onto it the whole time you drive anyway. so for that second it takes to shift its not really a big deal to me at least

Pssh, you guys got it all wrong:

It was originally meant to put over your shift ****. Not your fluid tanks
The real ITR shift **** is made of a Titanium/Magnesium alloy of some sort. Knock offs are stainless steel or aluminum.

hav3 a look see at that
once you have seen one you will be able to spot a fake forever....even the close replicas really aren't anything near what the real ones look like, feel like, nor wont break just about anything you throw it at

I had a $30 fake on in my civic..it was actually pretty nice but the gear position diagram thing wasn't straight when I tightened it down, so i had to wrap the thread with a little tape...hey if you're going rice why not go all the way, right?
I hope your joking because if you guys spend $100 on a shift **** their is definitely something wrong with you. It shouldn't even be an ideal in your head.

I think the knock offs have a 6th gear on them.
Personally metal shift ***** are annoying, either too hot or too cold.

real itr shiftknob, being more heavy, transfers more weight as you shift into gear. from there more energy is distributed through driveshaft into flywheel. this allows to retain rpm for longer in between shifts and more transient hp.
