Default Question about feeling of Clutch pedal of 93 Honda Civic EX

I want to ask if Civic's clutch pedal is generally not as solid as Integra's? I have driven my friend's 1996 Audi A4 and 1994 Integra LS but they have similar feeling in terms of stiffness. They are also older models so I think the age should not make a difference. But my impression to civic's clutch pedals is they feel like a sponge. I used to have a 87 Civic and the sponge feeling from the clutch did not change before or after replacing the clutch. I now drive a 93 Civic EX it feels slightly stiffer but no real big difference. Is it because of cable tranny vs. Hydrualic tranny or D-series tranny vs. B-series tranny? Any way to fix that to feel as solid as integra's?

Please advice

Thanks
Cliff

cable trannys will have a stiffer pedal feel. if you want a stiff clutch then get a stage 2. and also all clutchs are different, as far a s feel goes.
