Power steering on my 2000 accord v6 is making a grinding sound.

so the Power steering on my 2000 accord v6 is making a grinding sound and it gets a lot worse when i turn the wheel. also the fluid is spinning around inside of the tank when the motor is running. what could it be?

power steering pump possibly? take it to the dealer

fluid spinning around is normal.

have someone turn the wheel while you listen for the sound. if it's coming from the pump, well, its your pump...

it's pretty easy to loosen the pump up and slip the belt off. if you still hear the the noise when the belt is off, you know it's not the pump.

the fluid bubbleing in the resivoir is normal
