Valve Cover Paint Question Quick
So correct me when im wrong and fill in blanks
1) Sand down valve cover with _______
2) Prime the sanded down valve cover with ____
3) Paint the valve cover with _____ (blue hopefully) (wrinkle paint i think)
for step one, i use aircraft paint remover to get the stock black stuff off my oem valve cover? them sand down with something?
also do i have to cover up holes so it doesnt drip down at all???

1)sandpaper
2)primer
3)paint
Just use aircraft stripper to take the original paint off. Then use a light sandpaper grit to rough up the surface without scratching it too deep. Then primer and paint using high-temp paint.

I dont understand this question...you are planning on doing this with the valve cover off right?

I dont understand this question...you are planning on doing this with the valve cover off right?
