Well, I searched but I didn't really find anything except for break noise problems.
Anyways, my front passenger brake is grinding and I want to fix it.

Since I'm going to have to replace the rotor and brake pad I figured I could do both the front brakes and upgrade them. I looked around and Brembo blanks are very inexpensive, however the slotted are not that much more. Is it worth the extra money? I don't race or anything, but I wouldn't mind better brakes.
The pads are another story. I have no idea where to look for those. I hear Axxis or Metal Master or Hawk? Help.
Also, the calipers? Is it worth replacing the calipers? I have 16" wheels so I can't do a big brake upgrade, but is there a wildwood or brembo caliper that will fit under stock wheels?
Thanks.

i think that if you upgrade your power you should also upgrade in stopping power. so as for you guestions go, i think that a little extra cash for something like better brakes is totally worth it, not to mention it is for safety. pretty much all rotors will fit under 16"s, as well as 15"s. and yes that is w/o the big brakes. i went with POWERSLOT's rotors and have been using them for 4 years now. i love 'em. they stop my 16"s with the hepl of painted stock calipers and AKEBONO ceramic slotted brake pads.
as for brake pads. i would storngly recommend ceramics. i went with carbon-metalics for a while to see the difference, and did totally feel the difference. ceramics are superior in MY opinion.
here's a pic of my rotor (i kno it's not the fronts, but it's the only one i have on file)
