...the CTR pistons would raise the compression like a ****.

Anyway. I wouldn't do it on my daily driver...but I'm not talking for experience. So.

its a rebuild.....new bearings, rings & lower gasket kit w/ headgasket....... 12+ compression = race full or 100 + octane...... w/ ctrs check piston to valve clearance

Try 12.9:1.

personally i wouldnt because it could blow it but u might be able to if u set back the timing which u will lose hp and tune it for that octane. for a cr of almost 13 u should be using 100

On compression that high? You MIGHT be able to tune it to run on 93, but like has already been said, you will be pulling timing like mad to compensate from it. This is going to get rid of a good amount of the gains from putting those pistons in. CTR pistons in general are not a good selection imo. Flame propagation is comprimised, they are heavy, and the domes are just too large for most applications.

if your looking for that compression it will prob be easier to get some aftermarket pistons that way you will have deep valve reliefs if you choose to get big cams. bigger cams will be a def plus. !!

it will run fine as long as you got the fuel there...as for 93 octane you should be fine...my homie runs um daily on his itr swap...no problems

as for compression it would only be around 12.1-12.3 at most...as long as your using stock head gasket and the head is not milled or anything

actually it will be around 12.9:1 compression using type-r block and head, and stock head gasket
