Default hooking up apexi vafc vtec controller

ok.. i'm looking at purchasing a vafc for my d series civ. hooking it up isnt going to be a problem, but I do have a question about after doing so. Am I going to need to have the car re-tuned after hooking it up or will it be ok to drive after hooking it up?

Now I know there are some experienced people out there and thats all I need is an experienced opinion I dont need a smart *** remark from anyone on this.

thanks

it will be alright to leave it all the original fuel settings but you will have to put the settings for your car on the intial settings but if you want it to do any good then take it and get it tunned on a dyno

Till you tune it, the VAFC is going to run at stock default settings, in other words, do nothing. So yes it is safe to drive with it hooked up and untuned.

yes
how would you know if you are doing good or harm if you are adjusting things on the VAFC? you need a dyno and a decent tuner.

if you know what your doing you can blue wire tune it. we use it for the DSM's but its not as affective on hondas so I would just go and get it dynoed
