shipping prices on recaro's??
i have this lame guy who claims he shipped a set of seats for less then $100 to canada. im assuming he is from around the same area i am...around the south. he thinks that recaro's can be shipped for less then $100 and i wanted to know if that is true or not because my friend payed $170 for shipping for his. i wont say any names but this guy is acting like a total fagget.
$150 sounds about right with insurance. I don't know if you can do it under $100... but maybe possible if you find some real cheap carrier with no insurance. <shrug>
Probably Frieght collect. Because if your memeber to Frieght company there around 20-30% cheaper then say FedEx or UPS when doing large heavy items as it's not based on weight but volume metric weight or how much space does take up on the truck.
Also if you got good credit line with your Frieght shipper as if something happens to the items then they automatically fit the bill as most do if you got good standing credit with them.

$100 would be only corporate rate because that was an estimate i had from my CA office to NJ office for 2- 50lb items with insurance. I end up spending lots more shipping it from Japan to NJ under Air Cargo.
the guy didnt mention anything about shipping stuff commercially. my friend is selling the seats and he ships stuff regularly not commercially and i guess this is where we got mixed up.
I just hate shippping things. Right now i still have another set of JDM Recaros i am selling. I have to think about shipping when i do get an offer outside NJ.
