I need bleed my Cluch fluid on 00 integra.
i want buy bleeder kit anyone got nice kits? is brake bleeder kit same as clutch bleeder??

Also when iam using bleeder kit, old fluid is comming out so fluid will go low on tank right? do i just bleed until tank is empty? or bleed little (about to lower level) and fill. again again...

 

I was told to get a turkey baster and suck out all of the old fluid you can. Then fill with fresh fluid and bleed, just make sure it does not get too low as then you will be sucking air and have to just keep bleeding.

yea keep bleeding and keep a close eye on the resevoir make sure it doesn't go dry.

 

the old way is push clutch down..and dont get low on tank. cause pushing cluch with low fluid will go bad..but using kits doesnt matter right? i mean iam bleeding and tank fluid will go pass low..and keep add new fluid. righr? oh and do i have to keep the top off alll the time? or close it bleed stio and open fill and close again and bleed

All you need is ~3ft long fish tank air hose, and an oil pan of somesort to catch the old fluid.

1. Stick one end of the fish tank air hose into the bleeder on the clutch slave cylinder, and the other end into the oil pan.

2. Loosen the bleeder nut (dont take it off of the slave cylinder) and make sure there is clutch fluid comming out into the connected hose.

3. This is where an extra body (friend/girlfriend) comes in handy. Have this extra body start pumping the clutch, pulling and pushing, since there is no more pressure. Do this untill there is no more fluid comming out of the hose.

4. Now you can pour the new fluid in and lightly pump n pull the clutch untill you see the new fluid come out the hose from the bleeder. Just make sure you get rid of all the air bubbles and your set. Lock up the bleeder nut and your done.

 

when i bleed. is it ok to open clutch tank cover all the time? long as fluid is still in tank air will not get in there right??

 

yes you can leave the cover open, just make sure it doesnt run out of fluid, otherwise air will get in the system.

On the Catch can your using, make sure you poor some brake fluid in there so submerge the line.

If you just let it out in the air,when the pedal goes back up, it may suck air back in therefore defeating your purpose.

You submerge the line in fluid, so it never sucks air, only fluid.

Just an old known tip.

 

ok..i tired. i let my sis press the clutch all the way down and hold it. then i opened bleeder. after some fluid came out i closeed. and told to my sis to let the cluch go. padel was stuck on floor. so she pulled out and do the same thing again again. at the last step close the bleeder and also bring up the padel by hand?? still feel light pressure..i guess i have to do it again

 

Actually the turkey baster works well with the power steering fluid.
