i Need 96-00 honda civic shell and motor
I want to get a prodject car for this spring. I live in New York and im willing to travel for the parts. I need a 96-00 honda civic, body in good shape and then im gonna throw a jdm in there. Does anyone know where i can get the civic cheap and what kind of jdm should i put in a civic coupe. What motor makes the most sense if i want good performance but i dont wanna spend crazy money.
It doesnt have to be a JDM. What would you guys recoment because i want a 96-00 civic thats got some power am im willing to spend up to 2 grand on an engine and tranny.

For 2000 dollars the best thing you can drop in there is a 94+ B18B (Acura Integra LS Motor) with a B16A/GSR tranny.
It's a 1.8L Motor, 142HP, 127TQ, and it comes with a really long (shitty) transmission so thats why I suggested the B16A/GSR trannys. They're shorter geared and you'll accelerate quicker.
