I am going to start a Project 96+ Coupe for this summer soon. I am hoping to find the car with a blown engine if at all posible, but if i cant, im hoping to find one for under 3k. I just need to decide on what to do. I plan on having 7-8k to build it after i buy the car. I have a budget of 10k including car, so somewhere around there. I am thinking B18c1 turbo, suspension/brake,wheels,lipkit, and then about a g for stereo and ****. Opinions on my best route to go? I am looking for liek High 12s/Low 13s on street tires. What do you guys suggest?

 

Well good luck finding a car! Turbo would be the way to go with the numbers you want.

 

i dont think ill have that tough of a time finding one. they are all over the place aroudn here. i just wanna find one thats in good shape on the exterior. interior doesnt matter as long as the dash and doors are good cause im gunna change the seats and carpet. I just want an EX so i get power windows/doors, auto is fine cause trans will be coming out. Do you think i have a feasble goal since i will be doing all the work myself?

800 - Suspension
800 - Wheels and tires
250 - front lip
$$$ - brakes
$$$ - Axels
$$$ - Exaust
$$$ - Trannie upgrades
$$$ - Internals?
$$$ - Stronger Axels

all that I would imagine to break into 12's with a full stereo and interior.
