I have done my searches and have read alot on this topic, but was curious to hear from some other people in regards to the pros/cons of having a roll cage or roll bar setup. I was thinking about getting something not for racing but more so for safety. Just curious is anyone has gotten a setup just for the safety factor? I drive a ton (school, work, parents, travel for work) so anything I can add to give me better odds if I were ever involved in an accident. Any recomendations? thx

 

autopower makes a nice 4 point bolt in roll bar... affordable too like $300- $400...... adds to the look of the car too

 

roll cages are great if your car has a chance of flipping

 

roll cages are not for the street. you definately don't want the chance of hitting your head on the halo. that's why you'd need a helmet. i doubt you want a helmet every time you go to the store. a roll bar would be nice protection for the street.
