You should buy my friend's FBP '00 ITR w/ only 9400 miles. Immaculate condition. $22,500.

Who doesn't beat on their car PERIOD>?! I would guess that maybe 20% of people take extremely good care of their car and don't rag on it ever.

Even daily commuters are hard on their cars. They start them up here in the winter and just take off. The cars don't even get a chance to warm up. Then guess how many people don't change their oil religiously. I know of many different woman I used to work with that would run their imports up to 8k miles sometimes even between oil changes.

I'd be willing to bet that at least 50% of the nation changes there oil twice or less a year.

What's the Kelly Blue Book value?
I don't think there is a kelly blue book value for itr. Something about not enough volume.

There's a Big difference between driving it well and beating on it.

I don't beat on my R. I just continue to learn to drive it well.

KBB maybe not, but NADA yes!

Try http://www.nadaguides.com

OK, just checked the site. No 2001, but 2000 does have values and are suprisingly high.

Body Style: Coupe 3D R (5 Spd.)
Model Number: DC231
Average Trade-In: $18,800
Average Retail: $21,550

Im not sure cuz its been in accident twice already and its only 2001. A kid drove it so I know he was hard on it. But, there is anothe ITR that I saw same color only its a 2000 and it has 16K on it. He wants 23K for it. Im gonna go look at that one soon. WHat do you guys think

I would never buy any car that has been in an accident, let alone a type R. you never know what is covered up with body filler and paint, let alone the question of the quality of workmanship that went into the repair. do yourself a favor and stay away from cars like that. with cars this new, first owner, low mileage, accident free is the way I shopped before buying my 98 R a few months ago. they are out there... you just need to be patient, but be ready to strike when the right car comes along. you'll know it... you won't be posting here for opinions on buying the car or not. good luck.... check out the online sources for cars nationwide.

also, the classifieds here at H-T and believe it or not Ebay.

good luck. I waited months/years for this car and I wasn't about to buy something I would regret later. I love this car!!
