Iam planning to paint my stock corner lights and the bumper lenses amber or orange between those lines, I have SEARCHED on this board on this topic some people said use Krylon stained glass well I have gone to 3 different home depo, auto zone, pepboys , Virgil's, etc, I cant seem to find that spray paint at the stores, I know I can get it from on-line but I want that paint today I am not waiting 2-3 days for it to arrive. Do any of youknow of other spray paint that I can use or are there other stores that carry this Krylon spray can?

 

your looking in all the wrong places.

go to a Crafts store like Michaels or Joanne Fabric if you have those in your area.

 

I for got to mention Michaels, I have searched at that store as well they dont have the amber or orange as for Joanne Fabric never heard of it or seen it where I live

 

well just keep looking in craft stores in your area, thats where it'll be. i got mine from Michaels

 

Dude, I feel your pain...everyone kept telling me, about this mythical beast called stain glass paint, to look at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, look here look there I searched every frickin where for over a year asking countless employees only to get the same WTF look from each one, then alas one day at Michaels this angels voice came from nowhere and a majestic beam of light hit the shelf and there is was Kryon stain glass paint in red...just what I needed...it was a glorious day...but yet I have not been able to find any orange. Also I was going to check out some hobby stores (RC cars, planes, etc) to see if they have any transparent orange in the Testors spray cans...just another idea for you.

no i don't think you'll find this paint at a hobby shop. but you will find it at a crafts store. its not normal paint... its for staining glass.

 

hmmm. they sell it at all of the hobby shops locally for doing lenses on model cars. maybe just a regional thing.
