I'm thinking of buying this kit for my 97 LS instead of the played out s2000. Do you guys think it would look good? or

 

so spend more money on a kit just because s2000 one is "played out" .. ******* stupid if you ask me.

if you want a smaller antenna that will work good why not get the s2000? cus its played out?

 

It's just an antenna. Not that big a deal. Get what YOU think looks good. Who cares if it's "played" out?

 

i hate when people call z's "fairlady".. that makes the awesome car sound so *****-like. couldn't you just say 350z? or is the jdm 350's antenna different?

You shouldn't hate it, the Fairlady is the name of one of the original Z cars, "*****-like" or not.

 

I'm not sayin' i wouldn't get the s2000 one if i liked it more i just said "played out" since so many people have it. And the fairlady one is the same price as the s2000 kit that's why im contemplating. I just was wondering if anyone saw one on an integra before and thought it looked as good or &gt; an s2000 antenna... and no i'm 99.9% sure the jdm 350's antenna is the same i just like the name fairlady Z more.

 

for what it's worth, the s2k antenna looks WAY better....

 

for what its worth, i have never seen a teg with an s2k antenna around where i'm at..

can't wait to do it myself once i have the money and time..

word..i'm thinkin bout pickin up a late 70's/early 80's fairlady for a beater

 

well there are z owners out there that actually swaped their stock antenna for the s2000 one. I like either one, they both look nice.

Forget the antenna, just shave it! The radio is played out.

 

i'll stick with the stock one. cheaper to just wire in an antenna cut-off switch. i listen to cd's mostly anyway.

 

Get your antenna taken out, cover over the hole. Weight savings

That is what I was thinking too, my friend got a s2k one on his Z.

It's what I did! I added a whole second and a half in the quarter!!

 

Someone photo shop this, would be interested to see what it looks like.
