i got a tik for no cat
and have to go for smog i failed and am a gross polluter
and i get 1 free retake what happens if i fail?
what can i do ?
i have a 92 si hatch jdm b16 bone stock

Bone stock and your not passing? Try some fuel injector cleaner.

 

my emissions are double the max

wait how did they find out that you had no cat? I got pulled awhile back and I got a smog ticket for having a crank case filter on instead of the tube. They asked if I was just running a muffler with no emmisions stuff and I said no I have a cat, etc... even though I really didn't. The cops tried to argue by point to my headers down pipe, however I kept telling them to get on their knees and look! lol Talk about a bluf. Anyway they didn't look however I still had to go to the state referee. I put the stock exhaust back on and switched back to the stock ECU and fuel system with only the charger on the car (legal) and hide my SAFC and J&S under the dash. I passed with flying colors! ahahahaha
Anyway I would try to lean out your fuel as much as possible without going to lean. Also try to have all the correct smog stickers, etc... on! And be very very nice to them.
