Default 99-00 Civic F/R suspension in 88 CRX Si

Now, I've searched about the topic (Yes, it's hard to believe some one using the function but it's true). I read different opinions. What is concrete is that the fronts will work using the 92+ fork. I rears will not work because of the "box design of the 88 CRX LCA.

If I change the LCA to a 96-00 will it work? Some say yes. Some say use EG rear LCAs and just use washers to shim.

Are the lengths of the EF, EG and EK rear LCAs the same?

Cheers

I think the EK LCAs are narrower, not wider so shimming wouldn't work. I have seen someone cut off the welded on nut and bend out the fork a little to fit over 89-95 LCAs though. I wouldn't really recommend that though honestly.

Couldn't I just change the LCA to an EK and call it a day?

The reason i'm asking is that I have a decent suspension (Spoon shocks, 5 Zigen springs) from my 99 Civic (going back to stock) and I'd like to transfer everything to my CRX.
