Random Misfires
I'm throwing CEL's 71, 72, 73, and 74. That is random misfire cyl. 1, 2 etc. The engine is a JDM OBD1 H22a. When I'm driving it throws the blinking cell at me(soft code?) at around 3300-3400 and 3700-3800 RPM. Below 3K and obove 4k is fine, also it only seems to do it in fifth gear.
Any clues what to check? Plugs and wires are new, cap and rotor could stand to be changed, but what do I use on a JDM H22? 92-95 Civic Si seems to look the same.

It seems to have cleared up. I replaced the rotor with a 95 Prelude piece, and the cap with a 92 Civic piece and I'm not getting the soft code anymore while I drive, or at least I haven't yet. The old cap was pretty worn on the inside.
It's back
It is still throwing the check engine light between 3k and 4k rpms. The thing that really has me baffled is that the car runs fine. I can hold the rpm right where it is misfiring and the car seems totally normal. If I step on it it goes away, if I am in any gear but fifth the light never flashes.
What gives, why would I have random misfires in all four cylinders, only in fifth gear and only at part throttle?
