What modifications are needed to fit a Civic catback onto my Sol?
Well it may seem like a dumb question but here goes. I currently have the Skunk2 catback system on my car and for the 2nd time the muffler has seperated from the exhaust sysem(bad welds I suppose) and i'm at the point where would like to purchase a new exhaust system.
The problem is that there are'nt too many great catback systems out there for the Sol as there is for the Civics and Integras. I was told that a 92-95 civic hatchback exhaust system would be ideal and there may be some minor cutting and rewelding involved. Now before I go dump $600 on an exhaust, I don't want it to be mutilated at the muffler shop as they try to fit it on. Does any one know what is involved in getting it to fit and if the 92-95 Civic hatch catback is the one I should be looking at? Thanks.
EDIT: Searched and did not find the answer I was looking for, and do not want a custom setup.

Normally its just some weld modifications to the axle back piping and to the hangers. The B pipe from some aftermarket Civic exhausts are similar to the Del Sol. A good muffler shop should be able to make the Civic exhaust look like it was for the Del Sol.
This Civic Mugen twin loop I used to have installed perfectly on my Del Sol, as it was modified to fit a Del Sol by its previous owner. The noticeable modifications were on the hangers and the piping near the flange area, which was unseen.

I was running stock Del Sol B pipe
Then I changed it to an Espelir JGT500 B pipe that was for a Del Sol, 2.5". I sold the twin loop recently since I needed something less restrictive for the forced induction
Now I've got a Maganaflow oval on that Espelir B pipe.

Does Epelir make a full catback for the Sol? And once again thanks for your help.
NM, found it on a site. Noel can you tell me of any good catbacks for the Sol?

Espelir does make an exhaust for the Del Sol, also some good bolt on brands are GReddy, Skunk 2, or Tanabe... I would recommend custom 2.5" mandrel bend piping with a universal type muffler for your "Badboy" NA Sol
