omk last you heard my motor blew and this is the new setup. jdm d15b vtec W/ itb's and crome ecu. after looking at pics please leave an opinion about setup or questions please. thanx to all who supported me so far with info and such.

in nj its been snowing alot so here are some pics of salt and water marks creeping up in the engine bay and on to the itb velocity stacks.

this is the new vac log setup and position.

some iacv pics w/ water marks from salt and snow storms.

before pic of my new motor.

after the manifold gets cut this is what it looks like.(cam phone shot sux).

more in the making shots.

it would be a lil better if you labeled your pics so we know what we are looking at, dont u think? They are not that clear and i drive an OBD0 car so i dont really know what taht one sensor is hooked up. keep the pics and info comin, like some people said, a video would be nice. Have you noticed any gains?
-switch the velocity stacks around so that the short ones are on the outside, that will compensate for the lenght difference because the outter runers are at an angle.
-put a filter on the valve cover and the iacv.
-find some metal barb fittings for the fuel line, i wouldn't trust plastic ones.
-if you can't put filters on the stacks, atleast put a screen over it so small rocks don't find it's way in the engine.

I KNOW THE IACV FILTER IS IN NEED OF ONE OF THOSE APC FILTERS OR SOMETHING LIKE IT BUT IM NOT GONNA SPEND $20.00 ON IT I'LL FIND ONE AROUND FOR CHEAPER. AFTER YOU SAYING THAT THE SHORTER STACKS GO ON THE OUT SIDE YOU MAKE ALOT OF SEMCE I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T THINK OF THAT. ITS PROBABLY BECAUSE I HAVEN'T REALLY SHOWN THEM TO ANYONE WHO HAS THEM OR IS FAMILIAR WITHTHEM TO GIVE ME SOME INPUT. A COPPER BARD FITTING HAS REPLACED THE PLASTIC ONE ON THE FUEL LINE, THAT WAS JUST TO GET IT RUNNING. THE OTHER FITTING FELL OUT DURRING INSTALL AND NOW IS LOCATED IN "NEVERFOUNDUNTILYOUDON'TNEEDITANYMORE LAND". IM SIZEING UP SOME SCREENS FRO NOW BUT I REALLY THINK IM GONNA GO WITH THE SHORTER CBR STACK THAT ARE AVAILABLE. MINE ARE MEASURING 2.4 INCHES TOO LONG WITH THOSE MY POWER BAND WILL BE RIGHT WERE I NEED IT.
IT WAS CUT USING A PLASMA CUTTER BECAUSE THE BAND SAW RAN OUT OF BLADES AND NEW ONES TOOK 3 DAY TO GET HERE. LOOKED LIKE I TOTALLY RUINED THE MANIFOLD UNTILL WE STARTED SHAPEING THE ALUMINUM. the pictures have a brief description at the top of each one. what pic has the sensor that your curios about?
mild gains before vtec. vtec kicks in loud/hard even at partial throttle and im still trying to keep my stock exhaust for as long as possible.i have the sleeper syndrome and im not giveing any police a reason to look at my civc. also over all id have to say at least a good 25+hp according to my assdyno after it was tuned using crome summers coming so i'll have a real dyno come soon.im trying to get a video camera so u guys can listen and see my setup. thats still in the works.
