Default *Searched* o2 sim & test pipe

I have an Ebay test pipe for my 97 Base Prelude ... If i install it will the computer go into
"Limp" mode or will it only throw a CEL. Through all of my searching I have not found any conclusive answers ... and the only one that made sence was that a CEL will not go into "limp" mode untill it starts blinking.

Can any one help me out on this with their personal experience ... and I know i should get an o2 sim but I'm a college kid short on cash. Thanks

the ecu will thow a code for cataylyst ineffiency below threshhold, it will throw a check light, but it will not be in limp mode

how much you paid for that ebay cat? spend some money to get a casper's o2 simulator, or you can watch your gas mileage go down the drain

I know I am cheap, and like that easy install for the Casper, but will this:

http://www.brickauto.com/o2bypass/o2bypass.htm

Do the job, if it does then 15 dollars is a lot better then 70. Let me know what you guys think.

Well, Now I am def. getting one, the Kteller and WiredSpeedLab's seem to be the same one from the FAQ DIY Install around the ecu area ... and the casper which seems to be easy as hell to install plugs directly into the o2 sensor.

Would you guys recommend one over the other?

I bought the Ziptech because I know a guy that uses their SMC 500 for engine management on his turbo car and it works really well so I am figuring all their stuff is pretty good. It also uses an RISC processor to mimic the O2 sensor signal which I thought was pretty cool.
