Default Crower Stage 3 Cams

Might be getting a killer deal on crower stage 3 cams for my type s motor.

Anyone using them? Throughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Searched archives but all that has been posted is "cam specs"; no reviews.

Thanks!

Hmm.. been doing some more research and might go crower stage 2... no need for aftermarket head work but gotta keep the revs under 8400.

The stage 3's wont make any more power on a K20A or K20A-2 than the Stage 2 3/4.. Even with the stock valve set-up you should be able to get away with revving to 8600rpm. I rev my set-up to 9000rpm on a stock bottom end.
I did rev further and the cams do make power to around 10,000rpm but I spun a big end bearing on my K20A block, so for aquick fix I dropped a K20A-2 block in and away we go..

I looked into getting the Stage 2 and the guy that would tune my car said that it would cost mass money to tune it because you have to tune every came angle individually? What do yall think

Crower and Hondata have produced a K-Pro map for the cams aswell now, you'll just have to map the fuel and ignition timing to match your exhaust, intake set-up but I doubt you'd need to change the VTC cam angles...
