how do you know?

Default how do you know?

how would i know when my shocks/struts are going? how many miles is recommended for change in shocks/struts? thank you

You would either know by looking at the struts and noticing a leak of some kind coming from the strut. You may also feel that the car takes a while before it stabilizes itself when you hit a bump.

The manual does not mention when you should replace them, they just mention that you should inspect the suspension components every 15,000 miles.
