I'm using the D2 coilovers for circuit racing and very happy with them, handles very good and not bumpy in the street they are very confortable in the softer adjustable way.

its a knock off taiwan brand. people rant/rave about them because:
1) they are one of the cheaper coilovers to afford
2) they have alot of bling to them (chrome, anodized purple...)
3) they come in adjustable spring rates
negatives..
1) you have no clue how long the shock is going to last
2) replacement shocks, etc is where they rape you on cost. (atleast from where I can get them, the actual shock body replacement is more expensive than a brand new shock/spring)
3) no definitive answer if they use different shocks for different spring rate settings....

they're a tw-nese brand...and all them drifters here use them
they're inexpensive and ride alright on the street, but with anything, you get what you pay for and i personally wouldn't go cheap with a car part--just my 2 cents

to other guys: dont confuse this with D2 which you see on speedvision...these are knockoffs.

You seem to have a really shitty hook up on replacement parts, we charge about 100 bucks per shock for replacements, I dont see that adding up to more than 800-900 bucks, unless you run 8 shocks per car,
And I am not sure what D2 is knocking off of? Are you saying that since they are made in taiwan they are automatically knockoff junk?
The shocks have gone through independent testing for durabilty and what not, of course they are tested in taiwan so those certificates will mean nothing to you.
I am not sure what you mean by adjustable springs? we do offer custom rates but thats about it. As far as using different shocks, thats what the adjustable dampenign is for.
Yes and they come in purple, and also purple,

I also have d2 coilovers on my itr and i think they are great i have 13 kg springs to the front and 9 at the rear and they are nice and stiff but fine for street use as well. I found them very easy to setup and install on the car. Added bonus as well they come with aliminium top mounts so no using your old oem ones.
