Remove spray paint w/out completly ruining stock original paint?.
Is there a way? Im not lookin for perfection. My car was spray painted flat black when I got it. The paint is flaking away in some spots to reveil the stock paint. Let me tell you that it looks mint. The kid painted it because he got introuble w/ cops. I know stupid, probably atracted even more attention. But my question is. Is there any ideas out here on how to remove the spray paint w/ out ruining the stock paint? I was thinking maybe put some thinner on a rag and wiping it with out letting it sit long enough to ruin the paint underneath. I can literally scratch the paint off in some spots w/ my fingernail. That would take way to long though. Anyone have any thoughts?

Any others?

no, I was being serious.
If its a soft one, start at the corners and it should start flaking/chipping off, depending on how thick it is.

Its a 92 hatch. And it has to do w/ the appearance of the hatch.
