Default Any difference between rosette weld and spot weld?

Like title states, is there any difference between the two types of welds? Or is it basically a different name for the same thing?

If it is different, does anyone have available pics of rosette welds?

TIA,
julian

a rosette is a spot weld.

its used for attaching plates for cages to the unibody , although I think I'm one of the few who actually does it due to the cost of labor involved.

Rosette welds are often used when slipping a tube or tube adaptor into a bigger tube as well.
