This is the thing on the exhaust where you pull a lever and it closes off the rest of the exhaust and lets the exhaust gas go out an open pipe before the cat.
Can anyone explain how to do this mod or does anyone have a write-up for it?
Thanks in advance.
*edit* Also, if anyone can correct me and tell me what the real name of that system is called, that would be great.

my boy had this lever in his teg that he pulled up and it opened it up from the header. He just welded a y pipe on. It got stuck open and it was so loud.
He took it out. waiste of time

It's not really worth it unless you go to the track, in which case you can open it for a little extra power...
Not too sure if it would be worth it on our I4s though...
