stupid ass key question

Default stupid *** key question

im a dumbass. i think that was a good way to start off.
i only have one key to my integra. i know i know, slap my hands.
do i need a specially cut key from acura? or is a 95 old enough to just get a regular key cut?

Or just go to the acura dealer and pay $7 for a real acura key. I just like the OEM key myself

thanks guys. i only asked because my ranger needs a special computer chip key or whatever. im going to get 10 keys tomorrow.

had the damn car for months now and this has never happened.

it actually has to be an acura key i think. i bought a copy at walmart and it didnt work...

i got mine at honda for 5 bucks. same as the old one..except acura isnt colored in red.

they just sold you the wrong one..I got a bunch of made in korea POS keys

You need the acura key for cars with immobilizers, which i'm not sure if integras have. I'm almost positive that 95 integras don't have the immobilizer transponder thingy, so you should be set with any key.

98+ im pretty sure. i knwo my friend with a 99 has imobilizer on his.

Either way, ur safe with just a walmart cut key

00 and 01 are the only Integras with the immobilzer. I got a spare key for my '99 made at a flea market.

i have an 01, does anyone know how much it costs for the little remote thingy? and if i do get another one then can it all be reprogrammed? im still in kosovo right now otherwise i would just go to the dealership and ask.

on ebay...probably other places too..but theres these forty dollar keys...benz copies perhaps? but you press the button and the key shoots out like a switch blade. its like 30 bucks. kinda nice...but expensive if the key maker carves it wrong

just another option if you want nice keeys

well i called the local acura dealer and they said i can go anywhere since its a 95.
