Ever-popular Camber Issues + Balljoint Worn?
Hi all--
got an alignment today, came back:
Front (l/r) - Caster 2.31*, Camber -1.58*, Toe: 1/8" / Caster: 2.51*, Camber -2.23*, Toe: 3/32"
This is the front, they said the balljoint is worn on the front right causing the camber to be like it is.
The rear is
left: camber, -1.50*, right -1.78*
toe: 1/32" , 0
I asked for my toe to be 'zeroed' just using terms ive heard off here but thats what it is currently.
Is my balljoint really the cause of this?
and my main question of all of this hah..
I'm lowered on H+R Sports, stock struts.. replacing them with AGX.. will this push me into the -2* camber zone? I'm really trying to avoid that since i can't afford a camber kit any time soon. Better yet is there a strut that actually has an option to slightly have the perch set higher than it sits before you install the struts?
Definately sticking with agx $300 and less for shocks.. just trying to not affect my camber that much since I hear struts do lower a tad more..
Thanks

it could be, the hub bearing can also be part of the problem

worn shocks can 'cause miss-alignment

it sucks that the 'lude does not come w/ camber adjustment
