Default Complete rewire. Anyone use anything other than a Painless wiring harness?

I am about ready to rewire my corrado. Im starting from scratch. Anyone use anything other than a Painless wiring harness or ez-wiring? I would need probably a 12 circuit harness. I need just the basics, ignition, fuel pump, headlights, taillihgts, turn signals, etc. Don't need wipers, flashers, etc. I was looking at the painless Race car wiring assembly, and they came out with a new one, which comes complete with wiring harness and switch panel, but it is a little over 500 dollars. anything cheaper? thanks. Also, car has minimal options, and is pretty much a race car with the occasion of going on the street.

yeah, they look really organized, and a fiarly easy install. but the price turns me away. but if i can get less headaches from from the painless kit than another that is cheaper. i would have no problem spending a little more cash. so i dont know, im just looking around right now
