Hi all,
my problem is that the car will crank but won't start. I checked the ecu for codes but nothing. when i put the key in , the engine light will flash for two seconds and then goes off which is normal , as well the ecu will flash once only without giving any codes and remians off.
I have 93 CRX.
Any feedback will be appreciated.

 

1st, Check for fuel...

2nd, Check for spark...

One is missing....If the car just died, then its probably in the distributor, but we really need more info.

I agree. Check for those and then report back with more detail. The more detail you give the easier it is for us to figure out what is going on.

 

pull the plugs out and see if its flooded

 

Thanks Guys for the feedback, I will Investigate more and keep you updated in this issue with more details after i check the sparkplugs and the fuel pump.

If the pump is not running do not replace it just yet, Hondas don't have a problem puking fuel pumps. I'm putting my money on ignition.

 

for 1.....u dont have a 93 crx......maybe 91 but not 93
2.....i put money that its the ignitor

 

Finally got the car startd.. so happy driving it again.. Feels good guys.
Anyway, i was really tired trying to fix it my self. I took it to a garage, the guy said it looks like a problem in the distributer and the cables. I told him just try to fix it and leme know about it. The next day he called me and said the car is ready. "WoooW so fast"
He changed the distributer only with a used one from the junk yard. He also found that the engine compression is low and the car is running rich with oil. I can see white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I told him i will try to fix it ASAP or just swap another engine. I will keep driving till this engine dies
