Default Current Theft rate for ITRs in Southern Cali

Same story as Lonerider might as well just Copy paste yawn so lazy....

____________________

I'm thinking about purchasing an ITR in near future but I don't want to have to worry about it being stolen.
Does anyone know what the current theft rate is for ITRs around the Garden Grove/ Fountain Valley/ Westminster/ Hunitington Beach area of Southern Cali or had any theft experiences around these areas?

I don't think it'll be a big deal owning one in this area, but I would like to hear if any Southern Cali ITR owners have had any problems with theft.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Sorry Lonerider Iam at school and i want to post this fast nahh meen

it's risky owning a type r in any part of Orange County. I'm pretty sure a type r has been stolen from every city in the county. I would only recommend getting an ITR if you have the ability to keep it garaged and you have a non-tr daily driver. Even taking your car out to dinner, or to see a movie is risky IMO.

its just like MTV's laguna beach, where everyone drives mercedes convertables and we all build huge mansions on the shorecliffs. anyway, i've had my py itr for 2 months now and havn't had any problems with it yet! *knocks on wood*

The theft rate in OC is probably as high as any other part of Socal (at least in public areas). The downside to owning an R is once a theif spots it, it is only a matter of time before all their buddies know about the car and it's location before it is gone.
