they're not bulbs, they're LEDs. there's one for the ****, one for the slider (OFF 1 2 3 4), and a bunch for the buttons. it's rare that LEDs just die, but if you manage to get the thing out and take a look at it with a multimeter, you can probably figure it out. it's kind of a bitch to get out, though...

There are a total of five bulbs within the controller
used for illumination..

If you go to the dealer,it will cost around $60.00 just for the bulbs..

I found some that would work at the lightbulbdepot.com and radio shack...
The three with red circles are from the lightbulb depot
and this is the part # 24907a Z8640 14V .08amp T1-1/4
Those are around $1.00 a piece..
the two small ones are in the a/c switch and came from radio shack..

Just remember to wear some bulletproof gloves when taking that sucker out

There's some pretty sharp edges under the dash

Great picture Phill

If your looking for replacement bulbs, the junkyard is a great place to get them from. Take them from the cluster, they should work.

Or go here and pick up any color you want

http://autolumination.com/194.htm

Pick up red for that jdm look

The red bulb pictured above is a #194..
These bulbs are even smaller that that..

The one on the left is a #194 and the two others are from the controller..
