Nice product for the d series folks.
SMSP headers are excellent quality product and therefore the price will be fairly expensive if it is like any of their other headers.

Looks great...I like the idea about keeping my A.C. also.

It's much harder to weld on your head too.

What class? I'm assuming STS or STS2 in which case the header must be ?CARB? certified as well.

or an oem replacement?
I've built a couple hi flow cats for SSC Civic Si's for SCCA and they are the stock size to fit the stock collector. Now this header has a 2-1/4" collector, but I could make it to fit a stock cat inlet. BUt I'd look into getting one of my metal substrate spun body cats that flow extremly well.

No the cat has to be stock - cannot be a hi-flow replacement.
The class is STS and the header does not have to be CARB certified. That is a California restriction that is not required in all states. The header is technically required to be emissions legal but for what state? The DC header that is on my car is CARB certified but it doesn't pass the smog test. I know it's the header because the car passes smog with the stock one. Go figure. There were plenty of discussions on "emission legal" and from what it sounds like, there was no way to enforce this. No state has the same emissions requirement so is it fair to say your car has to meet your own state's requirements? It's a gap in the rule for now.

Oh, okay. I remember back a while ago when it was accepted that emissions legal was accepted to be CARB, guess it's more open now. Good to know
