Hmm... I don't know whats up with my car but recently its been idling at 500 RPM. Usually it idles at 1000 RPM. And when its at 500 RPM, it feels like the engine wants to shut off. The car isn't that old either. It has 55k miles, and I haven't red-lined it, only up to 6.5k RPM. So I don't know whats up with my car. Does anyone know whats up?

I haven't taken it to the shop yet.
It just been acting up about 3 weeks ago.

Take off the IACV and clean it... I recently had the same problem and that fixed it.

 

yea...u can fix it yourself...get in that hood...sometimes it get stuck so u gotta adjust it back to its place or lower which is better for built engines

what part of the IACV do I clean? or better yet how?
